P1CH Chrome Rounded Pivot Hinge - Top or Bottom Mount - Prima PPH01CH Series

Our P1CH BBAHI Porto Series Chrome Rounded Pivot Hinge - Top or Bottom Mounts are designed for use with 5/16" to 3/8" (8 to 10 mm) tempered safety glass, and provide an extra number of application possibilities. Some advantages of pivot type hinges include the fact that they carry the majority of the weight on the bottom, and have the ability to be inset from the wall, enabling clearance for towel bars and other projections. BBHardware (Prima Style) Pivot Hinges are self-centering, with four springs for maximum retention strength. Optional Cat. No. P1VP1N 5 degree Pre-Set Pivot Pin Sets may be ordered separately. In addition, Pre-Set 5 degree Hinge models are available. The PPH01 Model is adaptable to our Deluxe Header System for hardware">shower enclosures not going all the way up to the ceiling. Our PPH06 Model is only compatible with our EZ-Adjust Header System. It includes an adaptor used with the EZ-Adjust Header System. (Must order HAB01 Adaptor Block Separately)

Our Porto Series Rounded/Beveled Pivot Hinges are designed for residential or hotel hardware">shower use. If hinges are to be used for other than their intended purpose, approval must be obtained from the BBHardware Shower Door Technical Sales Department. Use only the template included with this hinge. Cut-out dimensions for BBHardware hinges may not match those of other brands.

Optional 5 degree Pivot Pin set (For Prima, Cardiff, Rondo, and Shell Series): Optional 5 degree Pivot Pin Sets are available when you want to alter the closing position of the door by 5 degree. These Pivot Pins may be inserted prior to installation, or retrofitted after the installation is complete. Sold as a set: One for the top, and one for the bottom. Not included with hinge purchase. Pre-Set 5 degree Hinge models are available from stock.

• Using two hinges with 5/16" to 3/8" glass (8 to 10 mm) the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with a maximum width of 31" (787 mm).
