Our C5LCH BBAHI Cairo Chrome Square Pivot Hinge - Left Hand Mount - CRL Cardiff - FHC Cambria Series are designed for use with 5/16" (8 mm) to 3/8" (10 mm) tempered safety glass, and provide an extra number of application possibilities. Some advantages of pivot type hinges include the fact that they carry the majority of the weight on the bottom, and have the ability to be inset from the wall, enabling clearance for towel bars and other projections. Cardiff Series Pivot Hinges are self-centering, with four springs for maximum retention strength. Optional 5º Pre-Set Pivot Pin Sets may be ordered separately. The BBhardware (Cardiff Style) is adaptable to our Deluxe Header System for hardware">shower enclosures not going all the way up to the ceiling. (Must order HAB01 Adaptor Block Separately.)
Our Porto Series Rounded/Beveled Pivot Hinges are designed for residential or hotel hardware">shower use. If hinges are to be used for other than their intended purpose, approval must be obtained from the BBHardware Shower Door Technical Sales Department. Use only the template included with this hinge. Cut-out dimensions for BBHardware hinges may not match those of other brands.

NOTE: Optional 5º Pivot Pin Set (for Cardiff, Prima, Rondo, and Shell Series) Optional 5º Pivot Pin sets are available when you want to alter the closing position of the door by 5º. These Pivot Pins may be inserted prior to installation, or retrofitted after the installation is complete. Sold as a set of two, one for the top, and one for the bottom. Not included with hinge purchase.
Using two hinges with 5/16" or 3/8" glass (8 or 10 mm) the hinge will hold up to 100 lbs. (45 kg) with maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
